The demo showcased at Summer Game Fest Play Days aligns closely with the direction established by Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village, with a stronger resemblance to the former. The gameplay emphasizes terror, featuring Grace navigating a decrepit medical facility in a first-person perspective, heightening immersion and suspense.

One of the standout features is the option to switch between first- and third-person camera perspectives.
