The double XP boost applies universally to all players active during the event period, allowing them to quickly advance through prestiges and level up new weapons introduced in Season 3 Reloaded. Notable weapons benefiting from the XP boost include the HDR sniper rifle, CR-56 AMAX assault rifle, and the Ladra SMG from the High Art event.

The event kicks off at 1 p.m. ET on May 15, with corresponding start times across U.S. time zones, and concludes at 1 p.m. ET on May 19. Players are encouraged to start their game ahead of the event to ensure the update downloads and installation are complete.

In addition to Black Ops 6, Call of Duty Warzone players also benefit from the double XP weekend. This simultaneous event allows Warzone players to level up weapons from the Warzone Armory and unlock new attachments for Black Ops 6 weapons integrated into Warzone.

It is important to note that double battle pass XP is not part of this event. Additionally, double XP tokens cannot be used during the double XP weekend; they are temporarily locked and any remaining token time is paused until the event concludes.
