WhatsApp Introduces New Features Inspired by Discord

This feature mirrors similar capabilities on Discord, allowing users to gauge group activity at a glance.

Managing notifications in group chats has also become more intuitive. Users can now customize their notification settings with the 'Notify for' option, choosing to receive alerts for specific interactions such as replies, @mentions, and messages from saved contacts. This feature helps users avoid notification overload by allowing them to select 'Highlight' for limited notifications or 'All' for comprehensive alerts.

WhatsApp has also introduced enhancements for event management. Users can RSVP as 'maybe', invite a plus one, and set end dates and times for events.
