Vivaldi and Proton VPN Join Forces for Enhanced Browser Privacy

In a significant move towards enhancing online privacy, Vivaldi Technologies has partnered with Proton AG to integrate Proton VPN into the Vivaldi web browser. This collaboration offers users a seamless way to access a virtual private network (VPN) directly from their browser, enhancing privacy by concealing their IP addresses. This partnership is positioned as a challenge to the dominance of US Big Tech, providing a European alternative that empowers users to regain control over their digital lives. Vivaldi, a Norwegian company, and Proton, based in Switzerland, are both known for their commitment to privacy and security.

Vivaldi's browser is already equipped with privacy features such as an integrated ad blocker and compatibility with privacy-focused search engines like Brave and StartPage. The addition of Proton VPN aligns with Vivaldi's all-in-one approach, offering users robust security without compromising on usability.
