Unlock Secret Nightfarer Classes in Elden Ring Nightreign

Elden Ring Nightreign introduces an innovative Nightfarer class system that allows players to quickly select familiar archetypes and jump into dynamic three-player battles. Each class comes equipped with passive and active skills tailored to various playstyles, emphasizing the importance of balanced team compositions combining damage dealers, tanks, and support roles with melee, ranged, and elemental damage options.

For new players, Nightfarers like Wylder, Guardian, and Ironeye offer forgiving gameplay, but the game also features two secret Nightfarer classes: the Duchess and the Revenant. Unlocking these classes requires obtaining special relics and completing specific in-game tasks.

Unlocking the Duchess

After completing the first Tricephalos expedition, players receive the Old Pocketwatch relic. This item not only provides buffs for dexterity-based builds but also serves as the key to unlocking the Duchess. By giving the relic to the Priestess at Roundtable Hold, a cutscene reveals her true identity as the Duchess, unlocking the seventh Nightfarer class.

The Duchess excels as a dexterous attacker who can evade and pressure enemies with weapons like fists, daggers, and curved swords. Her passive ability reduces stamina consumption, while her class and ultimate abilities enable time manipulation and team protection, making her a versatile asset in fast-paced combat scenarios.

Unlocking the Revenant

To unlock the Revenant, players must purchase the Besmirched Frame relic from the Jar Bazaar after unlocking the Duchess. Interacting with a Lost Phantom in Roundtable Hold transports players to a unique boss fight against the Night Idol. Defeating this boss unlocks the Revenant, the eighth and final Nightfarer class.

The Revenant is a magic-focused class with a high mana pool, specializing in summoning spirit allies to control the battlefield. Her passive and class abilities allow her to summon spirits that distract enemies, while her ultimate grants temporary immortality to herself and teammates, providing strategic advantages in challenging encounters.

Elden Ring Nightreign’s release on May 30 across multiple platforms brings fresh multiplayer dynamics and encourages players to experiment with diverse team strategies.
