Sony Unveils June PlayStation Plus Games and Bonus Catalog Titles

Every year, Sony celebrates its PlayStation Days of Play event, a highlight for gamers worldwide. Running from May 28 to June 11, 2024, this event features community activities, sales, and most importantly, new games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. This year continues the tradition with an exciting lineup of monthly games and bonus titles.

PlayStation Plus, Sony's subscription service akin to Xbox Game Pass, offers three tiers: Essential at $10/month, Extra at $15/month, and Premium at $18/month. While all tiers receive monthly games playable for a limited time, only Extra and Premium subscribers gain access to the Game Catalog, a library of games playable anytime.

June’s Monthly Games for All Subscribers

The June lineup includes:

• Destiny 2: The Final Shape (Available May 28) – An expansion to the popular first-person shooter featuring new abilities, a Prismatic subclass, weapons, maps, and a mission to stop the powerful Witness.
• NBA 2K25 (Available June 3) – Experience the 2024-2025 NBA season early, build your dynasty in MyGM mode, or create your own player to dominate the court.
• Other games available June 3: Alone in the Dark and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

Bonus Titles for Extra and Premium Subscribers

Subscribers with Extra and Premium tiers can access the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, which offers games playable anytime. Sony is adding several new bonus titles in June, including:

• Another Crab's Treasure (Available May 29) – A unique blend of Elden Ring and Ecco the Dolphin where you play as a hermit crab on a quest to reclaim its shell, navigating ocean pollution and battling enemies.
• Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (Available June 4) – Includes additional rewards, a new subclass, dungeons, and expansions Witch Queen and Lightfall, adding over 20 hours of gameplay.
• Other upcoming bonus games include Skull and Bones (June 2), Myst and Riven (June 5, Premium only), and Grand Theft Auto 3 (June 10).
