Master Healing and Survival in Elden Ring Nightreign
Elden Ring Nightreign challenges players with intense night battles requiring quick reflexes and strategy. Healing flasks are vital and found at Statue of Marika churches or earned by defeating night bosses. Additional healing methods include special weapons, healing spells, and items like the Warming Stone and Flasks of Wondrous Physick.
Elden Ring Nightreign is a demanding game mode that tests players’ reflexes and strategic thinking. Surviving each night requires careful management of healing resources, especially healing flasks, which are essential for staying alive against formidable night bosses.
Where to Find Healing Flasks
Players start with three healing flask charges, but to extend their survival, they must find more. Healing flasks are located in broken-down churches marked by bright orange Statue of Marika icons on the map. These churches are scattered but often distant, making them priority stops early in a run.
On a pedestal before the Statue of Marika, players can claim a healing flask. This straightforward method ensures players can replenish their healing capacity without relying solely on combat success.
Earning Flasks Through Night Bosses
Each run in Nightreign spans three in-game days, each about 14 minutes long. At the end of each day, players face a night boss within a closing storm circle. Defeating these bosses rewards players with runes, powerful weapons or buffs, and an extra healing flask charge, making boss fights crucial for survival and progression.
Enhancing Flask Healing Effects
Some weapons come with passive traits that increase the healing power of flasks. These traits are random but can significantly boost survivability by making each flask charge more effective. Players should seek out and equip such weapons to maximize their healing potential.
Additional Healing Methods
Beyond flasks, players can heal through various means:
- Weapons that restore health upon dealing damage or defeating enemies.
- Seals that enable healing incantations.
- Healing items like the Warming Stone, which heals nearby players slowly.
- Flasks of Wondrous Physick that provide single-use healing and buffs.
- Sites of Grace that heal players and refill flasks, even after being knocked down.
- Unique beds of red flowers scattered on the map that provide healing when approached.
These varied healing options encourage players to explore different strategies and gear setups to survive the intense challenges of Elden Ring Nightreign.
Elden Ring Nightreign is available on multiple platforms including PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Series S, and Xbox One for $40. Notably, owning the original Elden Ring is not required to play this standalone experience.
