LG has officially announced the availability of its entry-level B5 OLED TV range for pre-order, marking a significant expansion in its 2025 television lineup. This new series complements LG's existing mid-range C5 and premium G5 OLED models, offering consumers more affordable access to OLED technology.

The B5 range includes four models with screen sizes spanning from 55 inches to 83 inches. Pricing details have been partially disclosed, with the 83-inch OLED83B5PUA priced at $4,500 and the 77-inch OLED77B5PUA at $3,000. Pricing for the 65-inch and 55-inch models remains to be announced.

These TVs utilize OLED technology, renowned for delivering perfect black levels and exceptional contrast. They support advanced visual formats including Dolby Vision, HDR10 Pro, and Dolby Atmos for immersive audio experiences. Additionally, the inclusion of Filmmaker Mode ensures content is displayed as intended by creators.

Gaming enthusiasts will appreciate the B5's compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium technologies, which reduce screen tearing and input lag. The TVs also support variable refresh rates (VRR) up to 120Hz, delivering smooth gameplay and responsiveness.

Like other 2025 LG models, the B5 series incorporates a suite of AI-driven features. These include advanced picture processing algorithms that optimize image quality dynamically and personalized content recommendations to enhance user engagement.

Despite being LG's most affordable OLED offering for 2025, the B5 faces stiff competition from other budget-friendly options. This includes LG's own C4 OLED series, which may be similarly priced or less expensive, and Philips' 65-inch Roku OLED TV, which is available for under $1,000.

Consumers looking to purchase a new OLED TV in 2025 will find the B5 series an attractive option that balances premium features with affordability. However, evaluating competing models and pricing will be essential to making the best choice for individual needs and budgets.
