Home Depot Launches App-Controlled Ultra Skelly
Home Depot’s new Ultra Skelly packs six animated movements, LED lighting, rotating torso and arm, plus live voice chat via a mobile app. At 6.5 feet, it’s smaller than last year’s viral 12-foot skeleton but adds custom LCD-eye animations, recorded messages and Bluetooth interactivity for $279. It’s available August 4.
Home Depot Unveils App-Controlled Ultra Skelly
Just weeks into summer, Home Depot is already hinting at cooler temps and spooky nights with Ultra Skelly, its new 6.5-foot app-controlled skeleton. This pint-sized version may be half the height of last year’s viral 12-foot decoration, but it packs next-level animated features and lighting effects.
Ultra Skelly’s head and torso rotate independently with built-in motors, while its right arm performs a frightful up-and-down wave. LED strips illuminate its chest and jaw, and its LCD-screen eyes cycle through 18 animations—from cat eyes to patriotic stars and stripes.
What really sets Ultra Skelly apart is its voice interaction. Five prerecorded Halloween phrases play as its mouth moves, and you can record up to 30 custom 30-second messages with spooky voice effects. Even live chat with trick-or-treaters via the Home Depot mobile app over Bluetooth makes this skeleton a true party host.
