Google Voice Introduces Three-Way Calling and Redesigned Call Interface

The new three-way calling feature allows users to add another person to an ongoing call with just a few taps. Two new buttons, Add and Merge, have been introduced within the call interface. This feature is particularly useful in scenarios such as resolving customer service issues involving multiple parties or including a translator during conversations. Although three-way calling might not be used daily by all users, its availability enhances the flexibility and functionality of Google Voice.

The rollout of these updates began on Thursday and is available to all Google Voice users. However, the three-way calling feature is specifically accessible to Google Workspace subscribers with Voice Starter, Voice Standard, and Voice Premier plans, as well as customers using SIP Link. The features are supported on computers, Android devices, and iPhones or iPads.
