Google is gearing up to launch its next generation of flagship smartphones, the Pixel 10 series, on August 13, 2025. This announcement comes with the promise of four distinct models: the base Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Following the launch event, the phones are expected to hit retail stores a week later, on August 20.

While the Pixel 10 phones will resemble last year’s Pixel 9 models in design, there are notable upgrades under the hood. The base model will now feature a triple-camera setup, including a telephoto lens, although some compromises in camera quality are expected to accommodate this addition. The Pro models and the Fold variant will maintain similar camera hardware and design aesthetics but will benefit from the new Tensor G5 chipset.

The upgraded Tensor G5 chipset is a significant highlight, bringing advanced AI capabilities that aim to enhance user experience and provide compelling reasons for Pixel enthusiasts to upgrade. This chipset is expected to power smarter photography, improved performance, and more efficient energy use.

Alongside the Pixel 10 series, Google is anticipated to unveil the Pixel Watch 4. Leaked images suggest the watch will be thicker than its predecessor, likely indicating a larger battery capacity. New charging technology and additional buttons have been rumored, enhancing functionality and user control.

A standout feature for the Pixel Watch 4 will be the introduction of Google’s Gemini AI assistant, marking a new era of AI integration on wearable devices. This aligns with the broader trend of embedding AI more deeply into consumer technology to create more intuitive and personalized experiences.

All new Pixel devices will showcase Google’s Material 3 Expressive design language, delivering a fresh and youthful interface that enhances usability and aesthetic appeal. This design update reflects Google’s commitment to evolving the user experience alongside hardware advancements.

Interestingly, the Pixel 9 series also launched on August 13 last year, but the availability of models like the 9 Pro Fold was delayed by nearly a month. This year’s synchronized launch and release schedule could signal Google’s improved supply chain and readiness to meet consumer demand promptly.
