Game of Thrones Kingsroad Launches on Mobile and PC

Netmarble has officially launched the action-adventure RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad on both mobile and PC platforms, including Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows Launcher. Licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of HBO, the game is available across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East, with an Asian release date to be announced later.

Players embark on a fresh narrative as the unexpected heir to House Tyre, a minor noble house in the North. They can select from three classes inspired by the original series: Knight, Sellsword, or Assassin. Each class offers unique combat mechanics and skills, allowing for strategic battles tailored to different playstyles.

Drawing from George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire novels, the game brings legendary creatures to life, including the iconic dragon Drogon as a Field Boss. New creatures such as Ice Spiders, Stormhorn Unicorns, Ironbeak Griffins, and Red Cockatrice are introduced, enriching the game’s fantasy ecosystem.

The vast open world of Westeros is meticulously recreated, featuring fan-favorite locations like King’s Landing, Castle Black, Highgarden, and the Wall. Players can explore diverse environments—from sprawling cities to untamed wilderness—immersing themselves in the lives and stories of Westeros’ inhabitants.

Familiar characters such as Jaime Lannister, Lord Varys, Cersei Lannister, Stannis Baratheon, and Olenna Tyrell appear throughout the journey, deepening the connection to the original series and enhancing the immersive experience.

Building on its early access success on Steam, the game now expands beyond the initial chapters with new content. Chapter 3 introduces new regions like Storm’s End and Felwood, fresh characters, challenging battles, and a new boss Unicorn in the Altar of Memories update.
